christmas decorations

scarily enough in 3 months time i will turn 24, that thought terrifies me a bit.

i realised earlier that i had only posted about the protests in bristol, and some of the ice skating pictures, but nothing of their decorations, and their mini version of a german market that has popped up through broadmead. so i thought i'd share some of those photos with you, also.

as well as this beautiful small market area, cabot circus is already decorated for christmas, inside stores as well as outside. my favourite decoration inside a store was in the house of fraser, where they have decorated up the escalator walls with fairy lights, i tried to take some pictures but the quality wasn't great, but here we go anyway.

bath christmas market

actually, bath christmas market is something i had not even heard of until this year. i went up for the first time ever a couple of days ago with my best friend. we actually drove from dorset and got a park and ride from lansdown, however there are only 3 park and rides throughout bath city. after our trip, i would recommend not relying on a park and ride, as we circled two of them and luckily were offered parking elsewhere for a fee before we managed to get on a bus. also, the train service is literally a five minute walk from the market itself, and, in my opinion easier to navigate. bath spa station is small, and you just follow everyone else and you'll soon find what you're looking for.

bath christmas market
is a german- style christmas market that pops up from november 24th through until december 11th. it is beautiful and scattered around the abbey yard. each stall sells something a bit different, there is a stall that sells the most delicious berry cheese. stalls selling soups, sausage cobs (hot dogs), burgers, mulled wine, clothing, the most beautiful christmas decorations you will ever see. you name it, you can probably find it at bath market! it looks fantastic, here are some photos.

ice skating

one day, before i up and leave the uk again i will go ice skating. i would have gone yesterday had i been with someone else. going ass over tit when you're on your own is pretty embarrassing, i'd say. ideally, i want to go to somerset house, in london and ice skate there. it's kinda one of those bucket list things, that i just have to do one day. instead, yesterday at cabot circus, i took photo's of other people doing exactly what i wished to be doing! as you will see, i took a couple of people who had fallen over, because i know i will spend a lot of time with my bum on the ice when i finally get to have a go
