mad as a hatter

for the first time in a long time i had a sunday morning off. i had been looking forward to my sunday morning off so much last week that i ended up having this week instead (after the little emergency). so my mum and i decided to take off to castle gardens, a garden centre that does a beautiful christmas display in my area. i bought some christmas presents, although, i won't mention what i got for who since this is public. i also got myself a little l.e.d. snowman who changes colours and was only £3, he fits perfectly in my bedroom as he has a red hat on with gold stitching and my room is of similar colours.

i also bought myself an adorable snowman's hat, that was only £4.50. although, i don't have a picture of me wearing it. all the hats above were in the garden centre and there was a sign on the wall that said "trying on hats may cause public ridicule" so i, of course, had to try the hats on!! and the above pictures were the result. i also tried on an elf hat, which i wish i had taken a picture of!

my favourite find there, though, it wasn't something i bought was the below cute dogs. they look just like my friend's dog, george, who i am incredibly in love with. so i had to take this picture to show her. she was very impressed with it.
