Lazy Mondays

I love Monday's and how they are the one day of the week I get to curl up and do nothing.

This morning I have been watching Daybreak & Lorraine & This Morning all talking about the Oscars, and I know who won what backwards. That I am not so sure I care about, but I do love all the hype about the dresses made to fit the skeletons that turned up. I loved almost all the red dresses that were worn! I just love all the talk about hair and dresses.

I have been slouched on the sofa catching up with telly (Shameless, Secret Diary..., Glee, Top Gear & Gilmore Girls) chatting on facebook to catch up with a friend who just moved back to Fuerteventura yesterday. His move gives me such itchy feet its unreal. Plus life hasn't been 100% happy hearts and twinkly stars in Dorset lately, but all that is hopefully behind me as the new week starts and will end with my 23rd birthday (which is on Friday).

Thinking of Friday's this Friday that just passed was my best friends 24th birthday- I love that I will always be a year younger than she is. We all got glammed up and went into the unglamorous town that is closest to where we live to party. I wore a dress that I had for Prom when I was 16, hardly believing that I would ever fit into it again. I did, and I was so pleased, especially since I have purchased a very expensive law- of- physics- defying strapless bra, so it gave me a chance to wear that too. I did not do such a good job on keeping up with blogging last week, because I got a migraine on Tuesday and I couldn't concentrate on a screen without it hurting my head until Friday and even then it wasn't a great idea. However today I have stolen my Mum's glasses and managed to see everything clearly with no headaches (maybe that was the cause of my migraine). Trip to the optician is in order I think...
