You know you live in the country when (part 2)
people leave objects such as doors and bird tables lent against their hedges with price tags on them, and a note that reads "For Sale, please post money through letterbox". How trusting!
Abby, isn't it amazing? In my village I am lucky to say doors and bird tables aren't the only things left, there are bags of fruit and vegetables, boxes of eggs, plants, and other such things for sale at the front of people's houses. Beautiful
they do that out here in the countryside too! and we were talking to a guy the other day and telling him about all the oak trees we keep finding around the garden and which we should just simply weed, but haven't got the heart to do so. he suggested he pot them up and put them for sale out front. sadly, i'm thinking of doing it. :-) heehee. having a horse is expensive!
